Our Story
The Presidents Co-op and Condo Council – also know as PCCC – was founded in 2007 by Bob Friedrich, President of Glen Oaks Village Owners Co-op, in collaboration with Warren Schreiber, President of Bay Terrace Cooperative Section One. The PCCC officially added “condo” to its name in 2011. This problem-solving think tank and forum was designed for local co-op and condo board presidents and other stakeholders to communicate with each other, share ideas, and find solutions to issues affecting our communities.
The PCCC regularly engages with elected officials to review legislative proposals that have an impact on our co-op and condo communities. Our Executive board testifies before commissions at the city, state and federal levels. The PCCC is a powerful voice on behalf of hundreds of thousands of co-op and condo residents. We are proud of the political clout we’ve earned through many years of successful advocacy on behalf of affordability and improved quality of life for New York’s co-op and condo communities.
PCCC In Action
The Presidents Co-op/Condo Council was founded by Bob Friedrich, President of Glen Oaks Village in 2007 with the help and collaboration of Warren Schreiber, President of Bay Terrace Sect 1. It is a forum for co-op and condo board presidents and other Stakeholders to communicate with each other and find solutions on issues affecting our community. It is a “Think Tank” for local Co-op/Condo Board Presidents to share ideas, exchange information, educate each other, ask questions, advocate and provide political clout for affordable co-ops and condos and seek ways to improve our community and the quality of life of our residents. The organization officially added “condo” to its name in 2011. We engage with elected officials to advocate for Co-ops/Condos and testify at the City, State, and Federal levels. The PCCC is a powerful voice and tool for the thousands of co-op units and hundreds of thousand residents we represent.
Executive Board
Our Executive Board consists of individuals with vast experience in a variety of professional endeavors and talents. In addition, they are all board members bringing their unique points of view to the PCCC.
