As part of our continuing Friday conversation series regarding critical issues to the Co-op Community, the Executive Committee of the PCCC met virtually recently with New York State Senator Alessandra Biaggi, a declared candidate for Congress in the 3rd Congressional District, which spans five counties from Western Suffolk to Eastern Queens, along the North Shore and into a sliver of the Bronx and then along the Westchester coast. Senator Biaggi provided her background including that she is currently a member of the New York State Senate.
We had an extremely informative and thoughtful conversation on a broad range of topics of importance to the PCCC members. Senator Biaggi discussed many issues of importance to the Coop/Condo community and was very forthcoming in our discussion. In addition, the Executive Committee was able to give our vantage points on several critical issues, including the Good Cause Eviction Bill, which is currently pending the NY State Legislature. We would like to thank Senator Biaggi for being so generous with her time and look forward to further conversations in the future.
