The PCCC is looking to get a jump on the many local primaries and elections which will be taking place in 2021. To that end, on December 4, 2020, our Executive Committee met with Debbie Markel and Linda Lee, via videoconference. They both have announced their candidacy for the Democratic Primary for the New York City Council for the 23rd Council District located in Eastern Queens. 

 

We had an informative and lively discussion with each candidate and emphasized the importance of the myriad of issues important to Co-op owners in their District. We feel it is important to have the various candidates informed about these issues and these meetings are excellent formats to bring this issues to light.

 

We plan on meeting many other candidates over the next few months and will keep you apprised accordingly.
